Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AnyRemote, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to the website, account, hosted connection service, local CLI, and related features.

AnyRemote provides an account and hosted MCP relay that connects a supported ChatGPT app with a computer enrolled through the AnyRemote CLI. You install and run the CLI on the computer you choose.

The hosted service routes authorized tool requests and their results between the client and your computer. The computer performs the requested local operation; AnyRemote does not own your files or take control of your computer.

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials, authorization codes, and device credentials under your control. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and enrolled devices.

Contact us if you believe your account or a device credential is being used without your permission. We may take reasonable steps to protect the account or service while we review the issue.

Only enroll a computer that you own or are authorized to administer. Review device approvals and the permissions requested by the ChatGPT app before using remote tools.

The CLI runs tools on the selected computer according to the request and that computer’s configuration and permissions. Removing a device or stopping the CLI prevents future connections but cannot undo an action already performed or information already returned.

Plan features, usage limits, and any price are shown in the console or at checkout before you subscribe. Paid plans may renew for the term shown at checkout until you cancel under the options shown in your billing account.

Stripe provides payment and subscription processing for paid plans. Your plan, renewal, and cancellation status is shown in AnyRemote based on the billing information available to the service. Third-party payment pages and terms may also apply.

Do not use AnyRemote unlawfully, to bypass access controls, interfere with another person’s systems, distribute malicious software, disrupt the service, or run actions you are not authorized to perform.

You retain rights to files and other content on your computer. You authorize AnyRemote to process and relay information as needed to provide the connection and tools you request.

AnyRemote and its service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer rights in the service to you, and they do not transfer your rights in your local content.

We may change or interrupt the service for maintenance, provider issues, or other operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every client or workflow will always work. Keep appropriate backups and review tool actions before relying on them.

We may restrict or end access where needed to address a serious breach, legal requirement, or material risk to users or the service. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and we exclude warranties that the law allows us to exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You may stop using the service at any time. Cancelling a paid subscription may require using the billing options provided for your account.

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your use, we will provide notice where required by law.
